He is Aware

John 1:1,3 KJV
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

This may sound like a cliché, but your life is not without a purpose. Not just for school, then college, then a 9-5, marriage, kids, and death, but so much more that entails more than just your little life and it’s problems. Sometimes we wonder if God is aware of certain things we go through in life. Yes, He is. And since the Word is from the beginning, and the Word says everything works for good to those who trust God, let us continue to trust Him. No matter the circumstance, He is aware. And He will do it.

PS. Sorry for the hiatus. I have travelled and kind of settling in. Godspeed.

FEAR

Joshua 8:1 ESV (hopefully I will not be sued for this)
And the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear and do not be dismayed. Take all the fighting men with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, and his people, his city, and his land.

God knows our fears. But it stopped me short that after acknowledging Joshua’s fear, He told him to go ahead and fight anyway. Additionally, He had already given up the enemy into Joshua’s hands, but it was up to him to do something to make it concrete. So many times we allow our fears to draw us back from doing what we should do. We even pray about it, then fold our arms and wonder why God is doing nothing about our prayers, when truly, He has done it and the rest is up to us. In His prayer, Jesus said, ‘They will be done on earth as it is in heaven’. That seems to me to mean most of the answers to our prayers are already done in heaven, just as God told Joshua that He had already given the enemy into their hands. Trust is more than telling God our problems, it also entails doing our part as though God has already done it for us.
