God’s View

Psalm 37:23 KJV[23] The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
God is not only interested in the big events in our lives that seem significant, but also in the mundane. “If you believe in a God who controls the big things, you have to believe in a God who controls the little things. It is we, of course, to whom things look ‘little’ or big'”(Elisabeth Elliot).

Malachi 3:6 KJV[6] For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

It would be a sad thing if God was as fickle as human beings can be. Humans are prone to change, and not always necessarily good changes, but God is constant. “No matter how much you may change or how life may change, God never changes” (Warren W. Wiersbe).

Ecclesiastes 5:19 NIV[19]… to accept their lot and be happy in their toil–this is a gift of God.
Everyone has their cross to bear. The sooner you accept your lot in life and let go of what cannot be changed, and work on what can be changed to help you live a full life, the more you will have your peace of mind. “God grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can, and the wisdom to know the difference” (Reinhold Neibuhr).
