Matthew 26:42 NKJVAgain, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.”
Romans 12:2 NKJV
…that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
“We are not necessarily doubting that God will do the best for us; we are wondering how painful the best will turn out to be” (C. S. Lewis). It’s a difficult but necessary thing to accept the perfect plan God has for our lives. However, in the end He makes all things beautiful in His time.
Then the Lord said to Abram, “Know for certain that your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs and will be servants there, and they will be afflicted for four hundred years.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Say to your brothers, ‘Do this: load your beasts and go back to the land of Canaan, and take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat the fat of the land.’
Though the above is a “negative” example, it’s still an example that whatever God says will come to pass, no matter how much time has elapsed. A lot of people have received prophecies about their future but put it away because it seems to take too long. God does not bluff. Be patient and wait for the right timing of God’s will to come to pass in your life.
