Proverbs 30:25-28 KJV[25] The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; [26] The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; [27] The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; [28] The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.

Success means different things to different people. Whatever your definition of success, by virtue of the fact that you are made in the image of God, you have no excuse to not succeed in your life. “Don’t give in to excuses that can keep you from really living the best life God has for you (Joyce Meyer).

Proverbs 22:13 KJV

The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.
When you are not focused enough in life, every excuse real or imagined, can hinder you. Often, success is just a change of mindset away.  “There aren’t nearly enough crutches in the world for all the lame excuses” (Marcus Stroup).

Ruth 1:14 NKJV Then they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.

Ruth 1:18 NKJV

When she saw that she was determined to go with her, she stopped speaking to her.
Focus is an important part of the road to success. It’s easier to have a good idea than it is to follow it through despite challenges that may try to confront it. What the mind can conceive, it can achieve so it is important to be determined and focused on your goals in life. “Believe in yourself and there will come a day when others will have no choice but to believe with you”-Cynthia Kersey.

Clay in His Hands

Jeremiah 18:6
“O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the Lord. Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.

Fufu is a staple food enjoyed by many in this country. However, the same cannot be said for the process, that one is tempted to wonder why the creators could not think of a less harsher process. But when you follow it nonetheless, it becomes what it is known for. Such is life. As humans, we go through a lot of processes before we are shaped into who we finally become. The best success stories are from those who allowed themselves to be molded by tough times without giving up. No matter who you are, life happens to all of us. But if we allow ourselves to trust God, He makes all things beautiful in His time.
