People tend to reject what is different from what they are used to. Nevertheless, it is better to stand out than to force oneself to conform to their expectations to get their approval. “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment” (Ralph Waldo Emerson).

“Life is the most difficult exam. Many people fail because they try to copy others. Not realizing that everyone has a different question paper.” The thing about life is that every individual has their own reality and worldview; even siblings in the same family may not have the same experiences with their parents. Don’t force yourself to be like others regardless if their journey seem similar to yours. Seeking God concerning your destiny is the surest way to not missing it.

Christians are not ordinary people. We carry the presence of God and that makes a big difference between us and other people. Wherever we go, people must be able to see a difference us and the others. This is not automatic. You can’t expect to stand out if one does like others. Let us be faithful and have integrity in the little things, so that people will notice and give glory to God.
