Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

The ‘YOLO’ attitude seem to have the opposite desired effect. You would think that the fear of only living once would make people more careful with their choices, but rather most people justify reckless decisions with “life is short”, instead of making choices that will guarantee that their “short” life is well kept and of good quality.
