Say No if you have to

Matthew 25:9 NKJV But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’

Matthew 5:37 NKJV

But let your “Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
God loves the cheerful giver, not just any giver. Most at times, as Christians we feel obliged to say “yes” to *every* single request and expectation from others, even when they are unreasonable and we really don’t want to. There is nothing wrong with saying “no” once in a while. “There’s a difference between being mean and standing up for yourself” (Fritz Chery).
