Courage

Proverbs 24:10 NIVIf you falter in a time of trouble, how small is your strength!

Joshua 1:9 NIV

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged

In calm water every ship has a good captain (Swedish proverb). Generally, life doesn’t give us more than we can handle. There is no trouble that is peculiar to an individual. It is challenges that bring out our hidden strengths. Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point (CS Lewis). It is in time of trouble that we need to be courageous the most.
