The Inside

Matthew 23:23 KJV[23] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Political correctness is creeping into the church today. Sometimes Christians would easier work on doing the outward right things like coming to church, giving tithes and offerings, etc, than on the inner matters of the heart. Some may go to church just to be seen, and don’t have a problem picking unnecessary calls or whatsapping while preaching is going on,etc which they wouldn’t dare do in interviews and other secular settings. Let us not focus on how people see us spiritually, but work on our salvation with trembling. God is more interested in the state of our inner man than how we appear on the outside.
